My career has been a wonderful mis-mash of stuff I’m passionate about – science, nature, caring for people, organising people and… yoga!

As a fresh biology graduate, I headed into pharma where I cut my teeth as a Marketing Assistant in market access. I then moved into a role as a Junior Service Development Manager in the ophthalmology franchise. Following this, I did a brief stint in the NHS, putting my people and lab skills to use as a Sexual Health Technician. It was a dynamic mix of patient consultations, microscopy and phlebotomy.

My next stop was the world of Med Comms where I developed my organisational skills as a Project Manager in a busy market access agency. I learnt the art of churning out top-notch medical marketing materials, training decks and organising countless advisory panels. The fast-paced and varied work kept me interested and on my toes.

Behind the scenes, my passion for yoga led me to train as a yoga teacher in my spare time and, after a flurry of opportunities came my way, I decided to break from the world of healthcare and spent 2 years balancing teaching classes with freelance marketing work.

I’m now back in Med Comms town and ready to get my (monster) teeth stuck into some meaty project management work – I couldn’t be happier!
